The opening is still ahead.
On September 15, Mercedes-Benz France announced the opening of an expanded logistics center in Valenciennes, scheduled for September 18. The work took almost two years and included both an increase in space and the renovation of existing premises.
The company said the center serves about 260 delivery points. Among the changes are a three-fold larger receiving area, five additional loading ramps, and a temporary storage area for high-voltage batteries.
Why spare parts logistics affect service
Even a well-functioning service center depends on parts supply. Better warehouse organization can help process more orders and work with new categories of components. However, this announcement does not establish a guaranteed delivery time for each part to any country.
Planning the repair of an imported car
Before buying a damaged car, it is useful to check the availability of key parts by numbers, not just by model name. For high-voltage components, clarify transportation rules, compatibility and service qualifications. The real repair time consists of diagnostics, ordering, delivery and installation - expanding one warehouse does not eliminate the remaining stages.
