Marathon result in Japan
At the 50th Suzuka 1000KM, Team WRT, consisting of Dan Harper, Anthony McIntosh and Parker Thompson, won the Bronze category. The team competed in the BMW M4 GT3 EVO with the number 69. According to the official BMW results of September 13, the crew finished seventh in the overall standings.
Another BMW, the number 10 of the KRC team, finished third in the Pro-Am, driven by Augusto Farfus, Marcelo Tomasoni and Brian Lee.
Class victory has its own meaning
In endurance races, crews of different categories compete simultaneously. Their composition and regulations form separate competitions. Therefore, WRT's victory in Bronze does not mean first place among all participants: it is important to read both results together.
What does motorsports remind a car owner of?
The marathon particularly highlights the importance of preparation, teamwork, and technical stability. For a daily car, the practical conclusion is simpler: before a long trip, it is worth checking the brakes, tires, fluids, and maintenance schedule. Racing parts and settings should not be transferred to a road car without checking their compatibility and purpose.
