Goals for the coming years
On August 26, at its CEO Investor Day, Hyundai confirmed a target of 5.55 million global vehicle sales in 2030. The company plans more than a hundred launches and updates worldwide by the end of the decade, including entering new segments.
The first EREV models are expected to appear in the first half of 2027. The manufacturer names a target total range of over 600 miles and plans to produce the Santa Fe EREV at a facility in Alabama.
What does EREV mean?
In this approach, electric driving is supplemented by a range extender. To evaluate a specific car, it is important to know the electric range and the total fuel mileage separately. The claimed 600+ miles should not be taken as the distance on battery power alone.
How to correlate strategy with your purchase
Sales targets and future product lines describe the company's intentions, not guaranteed availability in your country.
