More responsibility at the market level
On September 2, Porsche announced a reorganization of its international sales. The number of regions will be reduced from five to four, and the new structure is scheduled to come into effect on October 1, 2026. Germany will be included in the Europe region.
North, Central, and South America will be combined into Americas. China will remain a separate region, and Overseas & Emerging Markets will also be revised. The stated goal is to better coordinate local markets with headquarters and reduce unnecessary central links.
Organizational change does not equal a new tariff
The press release describes the responsibility of the management teams. It does not set a single Porsche price for all countries in the region and does not eliminate differences in equipment, taxes or certification. For international purchases, regional specifics remain important.
What to check when importing
When choosing a Porsche from another country, check the original delivery market, service history and support for specific digital features. You should also obtain the current warranty conditions for the vehicle with the corresponding VIN. A corporate reorganization in itself does not confirm the possibility of transferring all services between countries. The full purchase budget should be calculated for the actual delivery route.
