Rally plot in a modern MINI

On August 26, MINI presented materials about the 1965 Victory Edition - a special edition dedicated to the victory of the Mini Cooper S at the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally. The historic crew was Timo Mäkinen and Paul Easter.

The modern series uses the color Chili Red, a white roof and Glazed White mirror housings, a stripe across the body and the starting number 52. Additional differences are the 1965 designation, special decorative elements and 18-inch wheels.

One theme, different powertrains

The design is offered for the MINI Cooper S, John Cooper Works and the all-electric John Cooper Works Electric. So the name of the special series does not determine the type of drive or technical configuration. The buyer first chooses the desired model, and only then evaluates the historical design.

How to check special versions

In the secondary market, similar stripes and stickers can be installed separately. Factory performance should be confirmed by documents and equipment by VIN. A collectible plot does not guarantee an increase in price; the condition of the body, technology and originality of the equipment remain the basis for the assessment. The photo of a regular MINI in this article is an illustration of the brand, not a picture of the Victory Edition.
